Meet you where you are
Care starts with your experience, not a generic programme.
Pascale's journey in physiotherapy began in 2006, when she graduated from the University of Cape Town and stepped into rural South Africa to begin her career. Over the next 11 years, she worked deeply within mining communities, providing musculoskeletal care and vocational rehabilitation where resilience wasn't just encouraged—it was essential. Along the way, she built and ran her own physiotherapy clinic and Pilates studio, shaping a grounded, hands-on approach to movement and recovery.
In 2017, Pascale brought that experience to New Zealand, where her focus naturally evolved toward the complexity of persistent pain. By 2019, she was leading the Hawke's Bay Pain Management Service, guiding people through pain education and rehabilitation programmes that restore confidence, understanding, and control.
Her commitment to this field deepened further in 2024, when she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Pain Management through the University of Otago, refining her expertise while continuing to support clients in MSK and pain physiotherapy.
Now, in 2026, Pascale opens the doors to Safe Harbour Physiotherapy in Taradale—a place designed to feel steady in the middle of uncertainty. Because recovery isn't always linear, and healing doesn't happen in isolation. Pascale's approach is simple but powerful: to meet you where you are, make sense of what you're experiencing, and walk alongside you as she guides and forges a clear path forward.
